Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Ryan has been gaming since he received an NES for a birthday present back in 1989 at the age of 7. His early years were filled with Nintendo Power magazines, playing the latest games with friends, and drooling over the $200 Sega Genesis system that, according to his friends, only the “rich kids” could ever get. Time went on (as it tends to do) and he acquired more systems and eventually got into PC gaming; picking up a love of RPG’s and action games along the way. My passions are gaming and writing Moving to Los Angeles at the age of 16, his interest in gaming began to include not only playing, but the development process as well. Currently, he is attending college with the purpose of getting into the gaming industry one way or another, and working as a personal trainer. Although gaming is undoubtedly a passion, music goes with it hand in hand. When Ryan isn’t spending his time gaming, he will most likely be found at one of the various venues around the Los Angeles area, soaking up the violent chords of punk rock or some sweet reggae rhythms.
