My inspiration in my life is my beautiful wife and son.  I’ve been fan of comics my whole life starting back as a child.  I grew up with Batman: The Animated series and X-Men: The Animated series.  This eventually led me to reading Batman and X-Men comics in the early 1990’s.  I eventually started not reading comics because comic shops were really rare to find in the late 90’s.  Recently about two years ago my son started getting into Iron Man after the Movie released in 2008 and it all began again.  Thanks to my wonderful son and Iron Man I got back into reading comics.  This time I started reading The Avengers and their origins since I already know about the X-Men.  I believe we are in a golden age of comics right now with all the blockbuster films out and coming soon.

            I read comics because the reality and society we live in in today’s world lacks hero’s.  I would have to say that Captain America is my favorite hero, not because he is an American that fought Nazi’s, but for his decisions to do the right thing even if his country see’s him as a trader.  I have that same characteristic so I can relate to Captain America in that sense.  That is why I love comics!

            The comic’s that I’m currently reading now are: Secret Avengers, The Avengers, New Avengers, S.H.E.I.L.D, Vengeance of Moon knight you get the Idea, I’m a Marvel Man!

My favorite hero is Captain America, but I love all of The Avengers.

My favorite villains are Dr. Doom, Magneto, Apocalypse, Loki and Galactus!

One cool fact about me is I worked at the Academy Awards and I got to hold Peter Jackson’s statue for Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King!
