It's been more than 20 years since Nike introduced the Dunk to the World. I truly doubt it had any idea this shoe would make the impact it has in urban culture. The Dunk was originally created to appeal to fans of college basketball — released in different color combinations to match various universities. Although not as popular as the Nike Air Force 1, the Dunk is well-known and a favorite amongst sneaker enthusiasts.
Nothing has been officially announced yet, but this sure looks legit. Apparently, Capcom and Nike have teamed up to make Street Fighter-inspired sneaks sure to improve your kicks. Pictures have arisen of both a Chun Li and Ryu themed Dunk. As you can see from the pics, the Ryu edition adorns a battered red Swoosh, with the Chun Li pair sporting her signature blue and a gold Nike logo on the tongue.
Hopefully, we will see a few more variations of these. I can imagine a few pretty sick ideas for Guile. These might not help you perform a hurricane kick, but they will make your feet look good. I'll be bringing you more details as they become available.
