A barrage of Fighters Enter the Ring

Okay, so you might have heard of the new additions to Marvel vs Capcom 3 a few days before San Diego Comic Con but, in case you haven’t, Marvel added Doctor Doom(Fantastic Four) and Super Skrull (Fantastic Four) while Capcom added Chun Li (Street Fighter) and Trish (Devil May Cry).  These four characters were playable on the show floor and, from what I heard; Super Skrull and Trish are cheap.

Amaterasu MVC3

Now, I attended the MVC3 panel and, there were some treats.  First, we witnessed a new, extended, trailer in the same fashion of the older ones we’ve all seen already.  This new one contained some of the characters that were previously announced as well as a hint of a new villain.  I’m not done yet!  We were also shown special combo and super-move videos for the four new characters.  If that wasn’t enough, Thor and Amaterasu (Okami) were also announced.  Now, they weren’t playable, but they did show us kick-ass videos containing their special moves.  Man, am I hyped for this game!

For a more stylized version of the new trailer, hit up Capcom’s official YouTube video.  Watch the video and keep an eye out for a special hint as to who will be announced next.
