It was recently announced that the cover art for the DC Animated Universe direct to home release of Superman/Batman: Apocalypse had been unveiled. Feautured on the cover are Superman, Batman, Apocalypse, and Supergirl. This sequel to the hit animated feature, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, will also be based on the Superman/Batman comic book and will feature the second storyarc from that series, The Supergirl from Krypton.

The feature will be released in three formats, a single DVD, a double-disc Special Edition DVD, and on Blu-ray. As of now, the Superman/Batman: Apocalypse feature will be released on September 28, 2010. Also, as a special bonus, each version of the film will present an animated short starring Green Arrow, who will be voiced by actor Neal McDonough.

And don't forget, on July 27, 2010, the DC Animated film, Batman: Under the Red Hood will be released on DVD, two-disc Special Edition DVD, and Blu-ray and will feature a Jonah Hex animated short featuring the voice of Thomas Jane.
