by nightminx on 08.03.10 Photography by: nightminx  Alrighty, so first let me say this, I may not follow Criminal Minds faithfully during the regular season but it is one of my favorite shows to catch re-runs on. That being said while at San Diego Comic Con I had the biggest geek out moment so far. I had a chance to meet the lovely Kirsten Vangsness.
OMG! I was super excited and just was jumping up and down like a little school girl. I mean I have to say Penelope Garcia (or simply Garcia) on Criminal Minds is one of my top favorite female characters. I mean how can you not love a sassy tech girl who can work her way around the computer? Anyways I had a chance to briefly talk to Kirsten and I was really trying to figure out what should I ask. Well I guess I really wanted to know what she was into, what does she like that would qualify her as a geek? Was she into comics, anime or was she like anything like her character on Criminal Minds with the whole computer tech. Her response was that she wasn’t as tech savy as her character in that respect but she does love comics and cartoons and many other “geek” qualified things. I have to say that even though I had a brief conversation with her it was one of my favorites. She’s an amazing person and I love her style, and I totally lover her character on the show. All around it was just amazing to be able to talk to this talented woman.
