After the first four issues of Aquaman fighting creatures from the deepest part of the sea, issue five is sort an issue that is connecting to another story line of the same topic. It starts with Aquaman stranded in the desert of all things and he has a flashback of how he got there. I thought it was really cool because it started with an artifact that the Government needed Aquaman to encode. They retrieved the artifact from the cocoons that deep sea monsters made in the firsts four issues. Basically, the art made the story and characters come to life - and it was a very interesting and mysterious issue because not too much regarding the artifact was revealed; along with the people who retrieved it back from the Government. Aquaman 5 is very much like Flash 5 with one story arc ending and another starting interconnecting the series from one issue to another.
