So this issue of The Flash has to the best by far because of the creative team’s choice to show even more of the Flash’s power to us. I was very impressed by the issue with the art and the transition of story lines in the issue. We get one story line ending, which includes The Flash’s best friend, and Captain Cold throwing down the gauntlet to The Flash for the next couple issues, which I’m excited for. DC has allowed the creative team of the Flash to totally reestablish Captain Cold and renew him into the DC Universe. Going back to the awesome display of the Flash’s powers, we learn that The Flash can tap into the space-time continuum by tapping into the Speed Force, which is the Flash’s power –as we also have seen this in the Flashpoint story line which started the New 52 in the first place. So with Flash learning about this other aspect of his power I expect this to become another possible story arc in for DC in the future; but overall I have not been disappointed with the New 52 version of the Flash!
