One thing before I explain what’s going on in this issue of Spawn, I was really impressed and really enjoyed reading it! So basically something very epic is going to happen in the Spawn universe that can potentially change it. Jim Downing and The Violator come to a momentary truce and to an agreement of an alliance to team-up against Malebolgia; the ruler of the 8th circle of Hell.  The Violator explains to Jim that Malebolgia is going after not only himself because he betrayed Malebolgia, but that Malebolgia wants Jim because he is one of the most unique Spawns to have ever lived and Malebolgia could use Spawn to destroy The Violator and take over Heaven and Hell!  In the meantime Jim doesn’t know that the Vatican has sent agents to watch him and are about to offer him a similar offer which if he declines can get him a struggle with the Vatican.

I don’t really want to spoil the rest of the story that is up to you to read it, and I recommend pick this up because it’s really going to get good. The explanation of the story and character development was really excellent in this issue because it went back to past characters and origin stories regarding The Violator.  Overall I really recommend this comic!
