by Delta on 10.18.10 ![]() FINALLY! The perfect Sims game for the iPod and iPhone. The new features included in The Sims 3: Ambitions (the second expansion pack for The Sims 3) range from having your dream job, building rooms for your house, more places to visit from the original Sims 3 game, getting married, and now having babies and becoming a parent! I love them and can't wait for more updates and additions to the game.
There are a couple of things I would change or add; one is having a two-story house. I see all these two-story houses, and really big houses too, and you are limited to only being on the first floor. If they show a house with two or three floors, then players should be able to go to those levels. They give you a small one-story home you can't do anything to. Yeah, you can add rooms or make them bigger by expanding on them, but I want a huge house — and I want the nicest looking one. Another thing I would fix is having more choices in the types of cars you can buy. They give you four cars that are the same type but different colors. It's not a "decent" or "OK-looking" car. It is the "I am poor and found this in the junk yard" type of car. What kind of crap is that, man? With that out of the way, The Sims 3: Ambitions is a good, life-learning game. It taught me every dollar I get doesn't mean I have to buy something. I looked at what I bought in the game saving the money, and it actually makes me want to have a job and save my money to get those expensive things I want in real life. It also showed me I need to keep working hard to reach that high level of success I really want. I really like how realistic it is to the real world and our life to the point in which, if you screw up or make a bad decision in the game, it leads to major consequences just like it does in reality. The game is really addicting, and I love playing it. I play it almost every day and love that it's so fun. Every job in it pays differently. For instance, I first was a musician, and I was making about $100 when I first started playing. Later, I decided to become an athlete and was making $150-$180 when I started. I was just like "Wow, do they actually make a difference?" to which I later found out it does. Now in the game, I am making about $500 every day opposed to before when I was a musician I was about to get a record deal and would only be making $250 a day. The jobs you pick are not always the same.
In short, all I have to say about The Sims 3: Ambitions is I really love it. It could use some changes and fixes, which I'm pretty sure the company will definitely do, but overall, it is a great game.
